Who we are

Human Atlas at human-atlas.co is a free educational anatomy reference. The 3D geometry is BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science, used under CC BY 4.0. There is no account registration.

Your choice

Analytics and advertising scripts stay unloaded until you choose Accept. Reject leaves Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google AdSense unloaded. The choice is saved in localStorage on this browser under the key human-atlas-consent.

Analytics

After you accept, the atlas loads Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-NEC3099MRC. Google may use cookies, unique identifiers, and IP addresses to measure pages, the browser, and approximate location.

It also loads Microsoft Clarity, project ID yq2u3hu8vc. Clarity may record clicks, scrolling, and a replay of the session. A replay can include text typed into search or the anatomy question box.

Advertising

Google AdSense, publisher ca-pub-8295623948644636, loads only on the interactive atlas and only after you accept. Anatomy structure pages do not load the AdSense script.

Google and other advertising companies may place and read cookies, use web beacons, and use IP addresses to serve and measure ads. Ads can be personalized. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and Google’s advertising technologies.

Support button

Opening the atlas loads a Ko-fi support button from storage.ko-fi.com. That widget is not controlled by the cookie choice above.

Questions

Text submitted to Ask anatomy is sent to this site’s /api/ask endpoint and matched against the atlas catalog. It is not added to an advertising profile. The IP address is used only to limit how often that endpoint can be called. The server log records the locale and the question length, not the question text.

Children and selling data

This is a general educational site, not a site directed at children under 13. Do not send personal information through the question box. Human Atlas does not sell personal information.
